Pride of Britain award for couple's cancer fundraising
Jake Coates and his childhood sweetheart Emmy planned to spend the rest of their lives together – but she was diagnosed with a cancer that would kill her. Their final six months together were spent raising money for the hospital that treated her. Now, their fundraising efforts have been recognised at the Pride of Britain Awards.(via ITV London)
