Why are Trump and Republican leaders so dead set on a giant tax cut for corporations and the wealthy? Not because it will lead to economic growth and create more jobs. We know that’s also a lie. No, Trump and the Republicans are committed to a tax cut for corporations and the wealthy because their donors demand it.At a Republican donor conclave held last week by the Koch brothers, the Party’s wealthiest backers expressed anger at the Republican Congress for not already achieving this. It’s why they bankrolled the election. And now, they’re bankrolling an expensive campaign to push these tax cuts through.Don't be fooled. For years, the Kochs machine has being trying to get Washington to slash tax rates on top earners and corprorations. Despite Trump's claims of economic nationalism, they're still ones driving the Republican agenda. What do you think?
